hey guys it was to wet this morning to go to work right away so i started ripping into my truck.
i removed the solenoid and removed the 7/8 plug. i also measured the nut with a calipber and got .052. is that ok? anyway oil is filled all the way up to the plug and i didnt know if removing any of it would make anything easier or if anyone had any tips i would appreciate it.

The oil level was filled up to my plug as well, I lost a little bit, but it didn't effect my install of the gsk. Make sure you have a pencil magnet.. makes things ALOT easier. .

 

oil is normal inside there. i sucked it out of mine just to make it a lil easier to see inside there. pencil magnet and a small pick work good for the washers. good luck with the install.

 

there better be oil in there, its a oil lubricated fuel pump, without the oil your fuel pump, no more pumps

 

i did mine off the truck so it made it easier but i didnt thave any washers under the small springs
