Default Fuel Plate

i got my truck running again it has stock injectors now since my 370s were junk and i put a #4 plate in. it seemed like it was running really hot like cruising at 60mph with 10 pounds it was running about 800-900* with heavy smoke so then i put my stock plate in now it doesnt smoke at all feels like it has no power and runs about 700* and the throttle feels like its really hard to push past 1/4 throttle and it wont get over 900* is there something wrong that would make it feel like it has no extra power past 1/4 throttle?

The only thing to help your power problem is try a new plate. I suggest a #100 or #0. Those 370's have the wrong spray pattern, therefore they make the truck run hotter. I wouldn't suggest them to anybody.

check your plate, that happened to me once.when i put it together somehow i got ig crooked.the foot in the afc was binding on the plate so it was having a hard time moving,i don't think it was moving at all.i always now put the afc on with the plate loose to make sure it's sitting good, then take it off and tighten the plate.are you getting much boost?

Theres a relay attached to the firewall, leading to the fuel solenoid, pull it apart and put some dialectic grease in it. make sure to blow it out first.
