my bad guys i wasnt thinking .
yes you want to screw it in to decrease pressure going to the wastegate thus increasing boost pressure.
i must have been half asleep

no the little hole does not build boost. what it does is when you diafram closes it sucks air, that hole makes it get air to close the gate
