what is the kdp? how to i tab it? why do i tab it? do i need to?

 

Killer Dowel Pin that if it moves from where it's supposed to be it can cause all sorts of destruction.

 

What=it is an alignment pin used to help keep the front gear housing in place.
How=you would have to remove the fan shroud,fan blade,vibration dampner,Front cover that houses the gears.
Why=It's to keep the alignment dowel from coming out of it's hole due to vibrations,ect.
Do you need to do it?=It's competely up to you.But for alot of people on this site thats one of the first things we did.I personally recomend it.It's not worth taking the risk of having the dowel come out and cause damage that will cost money to repair,or cause you an engine.

 

trust me fix it bad things happen because of that little bastard falling out
