Dont mean to keep asking questions, Im just wandering will this help me or hurt me in the long run... I pull a 26' steel gooseneck horse trailer!!

um it will help you. but idk i would not recommend it with a stock trans. u really should have a TC and a billet input shaft. if you have the switch you can use it for racing since when it is locked your transmission runs a 1:1 ratio... but in your case you could use it as an engine brake. cuz when it is locked it can only shift up so when going down a hill you can keep it locked up and let the engine rev up

If locking up in 1st or 2nd gear and not letting off the go pedal some it will cause very hard shifts which could snap a stock input. Mine will either spin or bark the tires when I lock it up in 1st and it goes into 2nd. Mine has a Suncoast TC, VB, rebuild kit and a billet input so it holds up good for now. Hopefully nothing else will break.

i have one on my truck and all i have is a TC. but i dont use it much cus you really need to have a billet input shaft at least if your gonna switch gears with it locked up. I agree a lock-up switch can easily break stuff.
