that sounds almost exactly where mine is leaking from. i thought at first that it was the cap that covers up the access to the governor springs but it was tight. tightened it a lil more anyway.

i read a short little thread on some forum this afternoon. been searching about 4 different ones. one guy had a 12V with an oil leak. he found some plate on the side of the block that the IP basically blocks. he resealed that plate and it took care of it. didn't have anymore info but it's worth a look this weekend.
