yeah on my truck the star wheel and just the stock plate slid smoked

 

Mine was stubborn the first time I cracked it loose. I took it off and put it in a vise. Then I used the Allen wrench and also put vice grips around the head of plug itself. The two of them getting used at the same time got it loose in a couple seconds.

ill have to find a buddy with allens for ratchets.
im just afraid of stripping it.
then im really screwed
