And personally, I wouldn't trust KY Clutch... I have a hard enough time trusting Valair. If I'm gonna buy a clutch its gonna be a South Bend, and I would recommend that to anyone looking for one. A 550HP Con FE will hold 550HP as long as you aren't doing whatever it is you and you friends seem to be doing Beets.

And if you are doing boosted launches with a Stick, you're glazing the clutch every time you let it slip like that.
My truck never would do a boosted launch when i bought the truck it just had a KY put in it held good cruising and pulling a trailer easy but if i stomped it, it slip right away with or with out a trailer. And yea a good majority of the guys i run around with do abuse their trucks

I was going to go south bend because they are some what close to me and one of the guys up there and he was straight up with me and seemed really good to deal with.

I loved the Con FE I had in my 97, while it lasted... The truck blew up, but I never slipped the clutch once. It was a little grabby, but it was much easier to drive than the South Bend Dual Disk 3850 puller clutch thats in the 98 I have. Plus, the DD rattles when you have the clutch disengaged, nature of the beast.

Mind if I ask why? They have great service, and millions of miles of testing on there products.

my buddy says there is some plastic piece in them that wears out. when he got his double disk he refused to put a south bend in and went with mcloyd or something like that. plus i think they are over priced

im not a fan on how valair runs things, i orderd a 6speed 13 inch conversion clutch and they forgot to add the starter spacer, and wouldnt refund anything, they were difficult to deal with. i love the clutch other than that, its grabby as hell and you must start out in 1st no exceptions
