Default too much power!!

I just put in a 0 plate in my 97, and I slid the fuel plate and afc all the way forward. I ended up with alot more power then I bargained for, my stock clutch wont hold at all. I was wondering what I need to do to turn the power down. I was wondering what would happen if I slid the 0 plate all the way up, would that have a posotive effect?

I'm not much help on the plate, but it sounds like it's about time for a stronger clutch.

Put a plastic bag over the air filter.

you could try an slid the back back or turn the starwheel to the left.

a zero plate is no goverence at all so its all fuel all the time...................yer only regulator there is in the right foot and how much pressure you apply...................a 100 plate is what you need , it will be normal on takeoff the all fuel from there

back the plate off to center and take it easy on yer clutch, once ya slip em its just a matter of time

Yeah once you slip it once it's hurt... and it will be easier and easier to slip everytime.

just slide the plate back to where it was stock. That should kill a good amount of top and low end fuel

ya it will drop the power down but the clutch will still slip, once it slips once there is no stopping it, hook a trailer on it and it will slip, garantee it
