The lift pump went out on my dad's 12v yesterday and after replacing it we took the old one apart to see what went bad in it. It turns out the only thing bad was a couple little spring loaded seals at the end of a big spring. Anyone know of a rebuild kit thats available? I really dont want to spend the 120 bucks on a new lift pump if theres a kit out there. My 12v has a weak one and i want to fix it before i get stuck workin on the truck for 3 hours from changing a fuel filter...

 

Never seen a rebuild kit... There may be one out there tho.

Which is kind of retarded because it is usually just a seal or sping in them that goes out. mind you, if you shop around you can get the pump failry cheap
