Default Steering

I have a 97 cummins 2500 with a 4.5 lift on it and through the abuse that alaska gives it everyday the steering wheel off about half a turn. Anyone know a trick to fix this?

yup there is a tierod that connects the steering box to the tie rod that runs parallel with the axle. this is called the drag link. you will notice that the draglink is threaded in the middle. I believe. or one of the tie rod ends is threaded (cant remember as my trucks stock steering was gone2 months after I bought it).
but one of those two you will have. just turn the adjustment and it will turn the wheel one way or the other.
Now what could have happened is you hit a bump and reached the relief pressure in the box which created a new center for the steering. you can try to make the wheels so they wont turn and hit the relief the other way but I wouldnt recomend it.
