Default 47re Won't shift at wot

I am wondering why it will not shift at wot. If I leave off a tad it will shift perfect through all the gears.

I was searching this for awhile and came up with some questions.

I am still wondering what does the tps actually control? Why does it have to be at 1-1.2 at idle and 2.2-2.9 at wot? ( I do have a standalone ats valve body and can check what the low & high settings are).

Does the tv cable actually change the upshift? I did find out it is also a kickdown cable if I am right.

I am tring to figure out if my problem is in the standalone or the adjustments on my linkage.

thanks

You need to adjust your Throttle Valve Cable

it is located at your on your pump where the throttle linkage is and goes down to the side of your transmission.

doubt its tv adjustment, i have been adjusting mine for awile and cannot see this causing the concern. tv mainly influences 1-2, 2-1, 2-3, 3-2 shifts with gov press. then the tp influences only 3-4, 4-3 and lock-up functions with tv & gov press. if you dont shift at wot cause of tv it would upshift late and hard at part throttle too. i may be wrong and im starting a new thread on my tv prob.

An out of adjusted TV Cable can make your transmission do some very strang things.

I do understand what you are saying. Mine will shift if 9/10 of the throttle is pushed. It shifts great and no complains there. I am going to check it like I said before and she where we are at.
Maybe I will keep the tv cable a little loose and see what happens.
