well I want to ride it out until january if I can. I just do not want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere with a cummins that wont start. its almost unheard of. My first gen started up running on 4 cylinders better than this "glorious P-pump" truck of mine

ok the wait to start light is a crappy thing to go by how may of you guys have glow plugs n your cummins i dont so theres no need to wait i got 300k on mne and never waited as far as the cold weather yes check your idle but also check the lnkage there was a recall on those for the 95-97 years maybe others too the cable loosens and causes this

im not 100% sure but i believe the wait to start light is for the grid heater.

Ok i dont think its a lift pump. If it was it would be running bad all the time but more at full throttle. Im thiking air leak somwhere or an overflow valve i would check the valve and the fuel heater. Also check the prescreen on you LP.

i went to cummins and pretty much got told that it could be the prescreen. I think it may not be the OF valve because I break it and it gets fuel.
