Default All New Parts For The Front End...

Well, its time to rebuild the front suspension, questioning whether or not to wait until my spring spacers get from HBS. I got an all new set of tie rod ends from MOOG, new springs (stockers, got them for free so couldn't turn them down), New poly swaybar bushings and new end links (with poly bushings), new control arm poly bushings, and the spring spacers. Shocks will have to wait a few months... Bilstein 5100's ain't cheap, but I think they'll be worth the wait. The reason for the rebuild was a clunk coming from under the drivers side floor pan. I'm thinking it was one of the control arm bushings, but I figured the steering sucked enough to justify doing the whole thing. I needed the lift to clear the new 35's I'm gonna replace the 33's with.

Anyone have any tips on the project? I'm gonna soak everything with PB Blaster now, then tackle it this weekend I think. Unless you all think I should wait until I have the spring spacers to install everything. I'm thinking it'll save some time wrestling with the springs, you know, pull them and put them back in with the control arms off. The Thuren track bar has been in over a year now, and its still practically brand new. I'll get an alignment after I put everything back together.

Uncle Bubba would be the one to talk to - he recently replaced just about everything on his front end.
