Default Sloppy steering

I have a 94 ram 2500 with borgeson box, new tie rods steering box brace. I have someone shake the wheel I see the box inlet rotating but not the pitmen arm, I turned the Allen bolt in 1/2 turn and the play is still about 3 inches but more stiff.
Any help much appreciated

You need a new steering box, along with a new stabilizer, also remove the box brace, because it will move the shaft where the pitman attaches to.
