Default brakes

I just replaced the brake booster and master cylinder. I still have a really hard pedal. All corners have been bled and the calipers and the brakes and the back wheel cylinders and shoes were replaced about 8 months ago. Could someone please tell me what's going on?

Hard pedal? That's good. Every time I drive a spongy pedal GM truck I wish I had a change of underwear.

Check the vacuum pump for one and was the new booster you put on new or used?

Everything was new with lifetime warranty. And the vacuum pump tests out at 20" at idle. 18" is only what's needed for the booster. And a hard pedal would be great if my brakes worked. It takes my body weight just to stop it.
