dowel pin is gone?

dowel pin is gone?

I Have 97 that's missing the dowel pin. Wasn't in the oil pan, no sign of it getting chewed up. Any hiding places I might look for it?

Hopefully it is in the pan... if so... you got real lucky.... I just rebuilt my 12 valve, and took care of the KDP issue... (small plate with one hole),,,,, no more worries...
