My truck died this morning and with the cold weather I thought it might have gelled. After cleaning out the pre-filter all the fuel looked good so I tried to prime with the lift pump and fuel is coming out around the rubber primer cover.

truck wont start so I am wondering if this leak at the primer pump would translate into a pressure loss in the lift side - does that sound right?

If its leaking out primer button then yes our lift pump is toast try a new one

after replacing this thing 2 times now I want to ask for a replacement that will last longer than a couple of years.
Any suggestions?
