10 or 100 fuel plate.
I'm running some pretty big injectors and I have no fuel plate in my truck. I want to try and tame the egts to make them manageable. It rockets past 1200 degrees without a care. It's making around 35 lbs of boost. I'm also ordering a 4k gsk and valve spring should I get different retainers?

Cut the plate to a 100 or 0 or somewhat of a custom hybrid version. Put it back in and tune it properly. And as for retainers that's your call, for the price of titanium retainers I would just buy hamiltons 165 spring kit that comes with retainers and all that for 550$ instead of like 200 for retainers and 150 for 60lbs. Wish I had done that in the first place.

My truck goes way about 1200 degrees. Besides injectors what else could cause this. Could too much boost blowing hot air cause this? It doesn't feel like a lose of boost. The truck has plenty of go. It's just the temp that's the problem. I never took the fuel plate out my self but by the way it's acting I am guess it's the fuel plate.

I have no idea how big they are. I'm going to try and figure out next time I come into town. Right now I'm at a duty station. I let off at 1200 because it will climb right past it. My father drove the truck a week ago took a video that shows the boost level and Pyro levels. I'll get him to email the video and I'll upload it to YouTube tonight.
