Default Transmission Swap

Looking into getting an auto and converting to a manual because autos have a lower value. I've heard it can be done with getting the trans, input shaft, hydraulic system, clutch, and pedals. What's missing? Is it worth doing?

If you have the Money to Invest, its worth it to the driver and to the potential purchaser in the future ...

the auto can be an awesome trans, I would just build the Auto and go with that ... lot less of a headache ..

its alot of work. auto trucks might b a little cheaper where u r at. but it wont b after u tear it a part, buy all the manual stuff an put it back together. i have a built 98 5speed. an a 96 auto with a bunch of bolt ons. ill take the auto any day, once u start making real power. iv broke my 5 speed 10 times probably. auto only once. easier to drive. way faster, an can be made to handle awesome power. if u buy a 98 4x4 auto, ill trade u everything needed to change it to 5 speed. dont forget u need instrument cluster, an steering column to do it rite.
