ATTN BD Power Transmission not shifting right.....?

Hey guys,

I just picked up a 12 valve and it has a built BD Power Transmission. It almost seems like its slipping when you hammer on it.

Fluid is nice and clean, not burnt, fluid level is good. I was looking at TV Cable adjustment but can't really get a straight answer on how to adjust it right on the aftermarket transmission.

Most of the time its just shifting very quick it seems. Then when I go WOT getting on the freeway it hesitates.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks!

Bump. I got some of it working better. But under WOT its shifting about 2800 RPM's. And kickdown does not seem to be working that well.

It would be best to find a good transmission shop thats got experience with aftermarket setups and ask them to diagnose the issue!

This isn't a repair thats suited for a diyer. I think I would recommend finding a good shop!

What kind of repair do I need? I would like to find the correct way to adjust the TV Cable. I read a couple different methods but nothing set in stone.

You need a diagnosis from a competent technician. Throttle valve adjustment is basically when the throttle begins to open the tv moves at the same time.

I know atptrucks.com (idaho rob) is in Eagle or Boise and while they specialize in duramax they may help you find what you need.
