I went with the Bosch springs. Seemed to be a good idea at the time, and no complaints. If you're only doing the 3K kit, there's no reason to do valve springs. In fact, I have the 4K kit, and I haven't done them. Just because you have a 4K kit doesn't mean it will rev that high, there's more involved with getting it to rev that high than just governor springs. I sure as hell wouldn't bother with valve springs on a 3K kit though, no matter what else you do.

I believe the only difference between 3 and 4K with the PAC kit is the number of springs. If someone can confirm this is the case, I would buy the the 4K kit and leave one spring out. Then when you decide you aimed too low, you can just pop the last one in and have a 4K kit.

you leave the little inner spring out for a 3k kit and install all springs for the 4k.

LOL... i want the part numbers for the Pac kit if you would please ....

and there's a reason for installing heavier springs on those engines planning on seeing 4K for any leingth of time ... its called valve floating .... it will case the valve to bounce off the valve seat and can damage the valve and the cylinder head, cracking the seat or warping a valve .... The heavier VS helps control the valve more precisely, saving you a tone of parts that "possibly could be damaged" .

And its cheep insurance when u decide to slow down with a exhaust break as you will have to have them then no matter what .... usless without
