messing with the factory springs is asking for trouble u increase the chance of breaking a spring, but its ur risk ur luck might be better than mine, the best place I found for pac springs is sinister diesel u have to search for them cause there not under parts that I have found

ok, that's all I needed to hear. I'd read a couple of places about tightening down the factory springs but no mention of them breaking, I guess that's why you don't hear about it more, thanks!

just tightening the factory springs will cause poor idle quality. you can however remove the idle spring shimms so that you can clamt the spring assembly down a few more clicks and retain good idle habbits. it will be good for a few hundred more R's
