Default 2009 track bar with conversion kit!?!?!?!?!?

[Hi all i am going to order a conversion bracket so i can put a 3rd gen trackbar on my truck but I have one question i went to my local junk yard and got a track bar off an 09 cummins now is this trackbar the same as 03-07 models? From what I can see it is, but I just want to be absolutely sure. Any and all help is appreciated

As far as I know it is the same, they didn't change steering until 2010.

Oh I see your from las cruces! I am in el paso and frequent las cruces as with diesel shops I do not trust any here in el paso. Good to see a fellow member locally!

03' - 07' used smaller bolts.

07.5' - 11' used a larger sized bolt at both ends.

Shape is the same. Since you found a track bar from an 09', you'll just need to open up the bolt hole on the axle side more, and maybe on the track bar bracket if it was built for the 03' - 07', but nothing that would take more than a couple minutes.

Sweet my friend. Its good to see more folks close to me as well. I have never dealt with any diesel shops around here, I do all my own work.

Is his on 4x4 ? or does this apply to 2wd also ?
