just picked up a set of heated tow mirrors for my 96 but there for a 98-02 so the plug is difrent and my 96 dosn't have heated mirrors i was wondering if anyone knows what the wire colors are has anyone done this to there 94-97s any help would be great

i found this for anyone that runs into the same preoblem..

 

I was gonna say you can make them work, I put 06 chevy tow mirrors on my 2nd gen just had to run an extra wire for the mirror heat.

hey 97 what ones did u get ? ..... I want the electric ones that are heated ... no frost mornings for this dodge ....

 

the mirrors are awsome huge difrence in your rear view i think they are a must in cosmetic upgrades.. the only thing im haveing an issue is with the heat .. there are 2 black wire that go to the heat pad behind the mirror idk.. if one is power and one is ground or if both are power and you ground off one of the ther wires.. any one know this???..

 

I would suspect one is a ground and one is a power wire.
