No, the aurora 3000 is a 58/73/?? Idk the A/R but that's the inducer and exducer size, it's a non gated turbo

The aurora 4000 is a 63.5/70/.86 A/R if I recall, I haven't dealt with ATS stuff in forever though so I'm trying to remember

a 3000 is very similar to a BD super b its a 58/65/14 think they come non gated. i would steer you away from anything smaller than a 62/65/whatever. if you want something that small stay with stock and save $1500. an hx35 can easily make it into the mid 300hp. i dont like the covers on the s300g as they are restrictive and a bastard size.

my buddy has a 4000 with a zero plate and 75 horse injectors. It lights around 2000rpm and has a good lag to it. We both have the same amount of work done besides his turbo and injectors. I would put it in my sig but i dont know how too. With my set up i get 35-38 pounds of boost with stock turbo, 0 plate and 16.8 degrees timing. I want to get a 3000, i hear they light around 1500-1600 and build the same amount of boost. Im keeping stock head gasket and studs too so i dont wan to go over 50psi

psi is a measure of restriction. volume is the amount of air moved (CFM) . buy what you want but i bet within 6 months you wish you would have went another direction. a 3000 by itself is barley an upgrade over the stocker. and if the stocker blows up a replacement can be had for $200 on good OL craigslist all day long.

signing off

I agree with turbo332, don't buy the 3000, you will be sorry, look more along the lines of a phatshaft 62/65/12, is 1500 and well worth the money spent, save your penny's and get a 62, I promise you will be sorry if you get a super B or 3000, the 62 will run around 35-40psi which is safe for head gaskets, as far as the 16* of timing, it's a ticking time bomb IMO, drive pressure blows head gaskets, not boost, keep that in mind , when you raise your timing your increasing drive pressure

My buddy has the 4000 with injectors and it lags bad. the guy he bough his 4000 from went to a 3000 and is much happier with it. It lights around 1500 and not 2000 with the 4000. the three of us all have 5 speeds so between shifts we all loose boost. im pretty new when it comes to turbos. I dont want it to lag bad like his, need something that builds 40-45 and gets lights around 1500. from what i hear the 3000 does it.
