98 12v 5 spd swap questions

my transmission went out of my 98 12v its quad cab short bed i need to know if i swap to the nv4500 do i need diffrent drive shafts or will mine work

I heard the the NV4500 is 1/2 in shorter than the 47re, but I've also heard that people have gotten their drive shafts to work, and some people have had to get new ones/modify.

yeah you will I think they have different splines. You will also need pedal assem, center counsel, slave cylinder, clutch, fly wheel, presure plate, gauges, its not exactly easy or cheap
