Default valve body problems

So i bought an ats valve body for dirt cheap, guy i bought it off of had issues but tore his oem one and this one down, found no noticable issues. but he just bought a shift kit and sold me his ats. NOW, months later i throw it in and back it out, goes into reverse HARD, put it into drive and it felt like nothing, gave it some gas and it rolled forward then banged into gear with addition revs. go up the street and i only have first gear... Any clues?! ill be putting a guage up to it once i figure out what numbers i looking for...

sounds like it might have some junk silinoids, had this problem with a beefed up rebuilt suncoast v/b for my 05 maxima..had to send it back to them twice before i got one that actualy worked proper!! see if you can get someone to test it on a diag. machine..

So i dug into it and found two things. First off one of the valves were sticking a bit. Second, the mid section had different porting, it had major differences in the passages so im going to swap the stock mid section and seperator plate with the ats section and hope for the best. I'm pretty confident that's the issue
