think of it like this. if you take a house fan and take a piece of paper and cover up part of the backside of the shroud does the fan spin faster? it does. it moves less air but it does spin faster. so spoolup might be better but overall i would argue improvements.

i think if you did the fan test it would move less air and word harder cus its less area to get air from. Id go with no silencer ring in my truck

I have a preatty much stock truck and I plugged the wastegate, highest boost I have seen is maybe 31-32 psi usually it holds right at 30psi.

i've seen 45psi+ with my stocker... will probably do more, my gauge only shows 45 and it gets maxed out...

I do 38 lbs with ease especially when crusing on the highway.

I dont know if i should start a new thread for this but thoughts on homeground plate? Keep stock ff and save stock tranny or grind a 5 or 6 and run it a little easier while trying to save stock tranny or even a homeground 10?
