Winter diesel oil

I'm up in Alberta Canada with. 94 5.9 cummins witch oil should I use in down to -40 curlicues temps

5-40 synthetic is what a lot of guys I work with have used with good luck. I ran 15-40 year round because it was free but it sucked below -10*.

5W-40 as mentioned. You can get Shells' version for around $24 a gallon.
