Just an update for anyone in a similar situation....

I put a torktek ofv50 in it and cranked my Raptor pump wide open. 45psi after the filter. That made a noticable difference on the bottom end throttle response and every where above.

I put a spring gate on. 50psi eazy. Way cooler at wot. No more smoke at wot. Stupid stock gate...

I threw some 024s in there too. Wow. What a combo I have now.

It will make 10psi at 1550rpm and just rockets from there. 45psi+ under 2000rpm. There is way more top end. There is just more power everywhere.

I beat it up the other day stuck in a snow drift. Holy smoke! Blackened the ground pretty good. I dont like that. More afc tuning..

I really like this turbo now.
