600hp daily driver help

Thanks guys. The reason for wanting an lbz is like BriteWhiteRam said, they are the most reliable. My current truck is a 94 and the only creature comfort it has is a radio My dad bought an 04 lb7 last summer and was very impressed with it but I dont want to have to deal with the injectors on an lb7. An lly might also be an option as a family friend has one and i might buy it if the price is right. If only there was a fix for the lb7 injectors because if there was I would no doubt buy an lb7.

if you can get all of the parts, heads, return lines, injectors, it is pretty straight foward. if you can replace the head gasket then you can do the conversion
if i have to do my injectors again then that's what i am going to do

Thanks for the encouragement When I was reading up on it they did say something about a reluctor ring having to be changed. Cant remember 100% because its been a while since I have researched this conversion.
If it comes down to rebuilding the entire engine then I do think an engine swap would be easier but if its only a few easy things then I think it would be well worth the effort.

you can make just shy of 600hp on stock internals. and i would go twins to keep it very driveable with quick spool times. nick is a great choice for a tunner and if your looking for a twin turbo set up check out wcfab.com its a buddy of mine i went to school with really knows his stuff and i believe all the set ups he does are tuned by nick from duramaxturner.com

I just sold my 07 5.9L Cummins for a 07 LBZ, I always wanted a duramax but could never really find one i really liked, was after a LMM but then i learned about all the emissions junk so i stepped back to the LBZ, read up alot on them and I eventually found one. And even after ALL of the reading and research I did on the LBZ i was still SPEECHLESS when I peeled out of the dealers lot in my new LBZ. Someone telling you an LBZ is a beast doesn't do them justice, All i can say is you won't regret buying one. I know i sure as hell don't.

twin it and be done with it and 600 will be hit pretty easily by then.
the rods can handle it no sweat, they can take like 700 before people worry about lbz rods bending. the biggest worry is the pistons, there were some made by a factory out in india or i forget exaclty but a some lbz's and lmms have a problem with cracking pistons.
the lb7 and lly's are made my mahle and they can hold up to some sturdy ish.
