Default Whats the best way to gut the cat?

How do I prepare the cat to install 3 1/2 pipe through it?

Don't just cut it off or if you must. Cut it at the welds, gut it, enlarge the holes so you can slide and 3.5" or go up to 4" through it.

will it hurt the truck if i cut out the cat??

Nope.. Just check your local emissions laws and vehicel inspection stations.. if you are required to run a cat in your area, then just gut it.. If not, then its fine to replace it with straight pipe.

Sweet There is no emissions up here. LOL i just dont tell and they dont ask!!
