Default turbo timer???

hey guys i'm trying to find a turbo timer for my 06 lbz but i cant seem to find any and i would like to find one that runs off of egt temp not a set time if they even make one any help would be greatley app

The Quadzilla on the 2nd gens have a built in turbo timer for egt's , I would check to see if the quadzilla for the 3rd gens offer the same feature

He's got a chevy, and I don't know if Quad offers those features on the Chevy's; although I don't see why he wouldn't. Sorry I can't be of any help.

some aftermarket alarms have turbo timer built in, mine does but i never use it

When I was in the GM Duramax class, the instuctor said and it's printed in the GM handbook, that you do not need to let the turbo cool due to it's water and oil cooling systems that keep it cool at all times.

With that said, after a long pull I still let my egt's hit 400 or under before shutting down, which usually takes only a minute or less.

Another option would be the BD Turbo Timer by itself:

We don't have this on our site but we can assist you with this as well if needed.
