Def just have your trans built locally with sucnoast parts. Just pull and install the trans yourself and that will save you a couple hours labor!

What is the hardest part about pulling these trannies? Is just a few bolts, wiring harness, oil lines and shifter linkage? A buddy of mine knows a good guy who will drop the tranny for cheap but he doesnt rebuild them. If its not too hard I wouldn't mind doing it myself. I'm no pro mechanic with a fancy lift or anything but I do know my way around a wrench.

Hardest part is the weight of it . Its an easy trans to pull though! Fairly simple and straight forward
