hello to all, . I am new to this forum , but have come here on several occassions to view threads.
I have a 2005 ford f250 6.0l diesel engine.
My truck has 127,000 miles and i dont believe my hubby has ever changed the filter in the transmission.

While towing our 5th wheel down to southern ca the wrench lite would come one and off.
Engine seemed to struggle a little, but not much. however, on way back I started to climb hill, pedal to floor 30 mph barely, two days later (yesterday) truck will not go into reverse.
I took it to tranny shop this am and they just called and, told me tranny needed to be rebuilt.
Now being female im not totally convinced that the tranny is shot.
