Default that funny noise...

the front end of my 2006 duramax makes a chattering/clunking noise whenever i get on any rough road... it sounds like its mostly coming from the driver side. are my CV joints possibly going out? or is it a bad wheel bearing? something else? or is it nothing to worry about?

also i can feel some movement/clunking in the steering column. is this related to the chattering in the front end or is it a different problem?

it probably doesn't help that i have an 8inch Fabtech lift with 355/60R20's

i never thought it might be a recall haha that would be awesome if thats all i have to do. will the recall still be valid with my 8 inch lift?

it is an easy fix. just replace lower steering shaft between column and steering gear
