I realllly need a used VP44. My truck blew the pump on its way home from when I bought it. I have not even driven the truck 100 miles! I'm short on cash but have a full toolbox and lots of spare time... so.... used is how I"m going to go to get it running.

you could check some of your local diesel shops & see if theyl sell ya one cheap or try the for sale section

I was wondering the same? what codes u shoot, could be electronics

 

P1688 or p1689 if I remember correctly. I checked the fuel system relay- swapped it with the wiper relay and still dead.

You cant just replace the computer, can you?

 

if you mean the computer on the pump no u can't it has to be done at a place that rebuilds the pumps
