Have a closer look at Chiptuning, Turbokits und Motor Tuning Spezialbauteile für VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda und Porsche - MFT - Milewski Fahrzeugtechnik www.MFT-Berlin.de
They sell everything you want, need... and if you have a closer look many of the tuning items are Made in the USA! Questions? Let me know.

So you can't use a bigger intercoolers in a TDI??? What about lighter and stronger clutches? Useless like better brake discs? If you just go for chip tuning have look at KW-systems.de all brands, but specialized in VW and Audi. For injectors go with the Bosio Fratelli brand.Italian stuff.

All mods are possible on TDIs, well except for the 2009 & 2010 TDI because they are so new and have such strict emissions nobody has broken any ground on them yet. In fact I heard that Rocketchip who is knwon for very good TDI programming has decided to not tune them.
Feel free to cruise the tdiclub.com for more details. This is a good truck website but its not the best VW diesel website.

2004 options
I have a 2004 Jetta TDI 5-spd. I have just went to a larger turbo ( lost the stock one at 113,000 miles) I am planning on runing a chip tune as well when I put a clutch in it.
I have gone through Kerma TDI parts for all my pieces so far. Shipping on the turbo took a couple of weeks but their customer service has seemed very good with all my phone calls and stupid questions.

Anyone that claims that intercoolers can't be swapped is pulling your leg. It's been done. I've built piping for one.
You can do injectors, you can put an AFE stage 1 on there, you can do clutches and turbos and although there is enough room for twins I've never seen it - likely because the block doesn't like lots of boost.
Evolution Imports, VM Autohaus, Kerma and there is a pretty amjor outfit in Portland that I can't remember the name of at the moment... but they make killer exhaust systems.
