Well, in my job I have a lot of stuff and will have (on occasion) people to haul to business meetings...but I'm 23, just out of college...and want to celebrate by buying something cool...but not retardedly impractical. But OMG, I just looked up the VW Eos...on KBB.com...I may be in loooooove...

Back to the car (TDI) and the cold...

We bought ours when we lived in AB. Only when it was -35 outside was there ever a need to plug it in. Otherwise, started up right away. Great car.

Put winter tires on it and it will drive better than nearly every sport-ute out there in crappy weather.

In good weather, getting 55+ MPG is always a good thing.

she bought a jetta but it aint a diesel, she said the $6000 difference was to much. She is currently getting 28-32 mpg.

I was hopping for a diesel but hey.

im only going to have it maybe 5 years, so i doubt ill make up the difference...i really like it tho...i know possum wanted a jetta, but the one i got was pretty, wayy better mpg than my eclipse, and it gets me where i need to go...im really happy with it. in the meantime, ill let him play with the diesels and be content to be a passenger.

I love it Andy...getting great mpg...VERY quiet-- i rarely shut off my engine at the pump, i got some gas the other day, got in and really had to sit and look at everything to remember if i had shut it off or not~

Smooth ride, quiet ride, lots of power AND the features are insane.

It's new, so I would expect it to get better.

And considering my 02 Eclipse got 23...
