Default Tuning question

So I bought an 06 TDI and I want to get a chip for it. Have heard good things about Malone, unitronic and TD tuning. Has anyone run them and what would you recommend? Also I can't decide on stage 1 or stage 2 tuning. Its a daily driver so I don't need crazy power and I don't want a ton of smoke. Any help would be great

I just got a malone 2 for my passat and it really wakes it up. Try tdipage.com

Just had my wife`s 00 beetle Malone(stage 1) tuned by Justin at greaseworks in Corvallis. Justin is great-you`ll love the MALONE TUNE.
Ibelieve with the stage1.5-II and up you need nozzles etc...
Justin can tell /recommend a good choice for you. Dont forget the EGR delete or Dynamic thingie either.
Being cold in the Bend area you may need the EGR??????
