I have an 84 760TD also with 5sp - and was wondering the same - what about a quicker spooling turbo? do you have any suggestions? what about GTD nozzles? and maybe injection pump mods - with an innercooler? anyone have any suggestions?

I have a VW LT 45 & 35 - these run the 2.4 ACL motor also found in the big old volvos...
