if you wanna give pulling a shot I say go for it ... but pick a soft track to start off. this way you don't have to slip the clutch a ton, you can run 4th low, and your chances of hopping are not that great.

if you only have tight tracks make sure you air your tires up so she spins off the line and hooks round the 100ft mark. That will save your clutch big time

I hooked about 10 times with a 3600#SBDD and that was it now run a cintered iron triple they will not hold up to much abuse and I never road the clutch out, within 1 revolution of the wheels it was out I also have quite a bit of power and run 5th gear low with a g56 and 373 gears with 33" tires.
