so im sure this has been asked a bunch but im looking to hook to a sled for the first time this year,real excited about it, and i was wondering if you all had any tips for someone who has never hooked before, anything would be appritiated

what DD clutch do u have? if u have the street clutch, i would advise not doing it

 

Yeah, it is the street double, i wasnt planning on pulling alot on that clutch, but the way everyone talks once you pull one time your hooked

 

how true that is ... at the start try not to slip the clutch as much as possible. any idea on what gear your gonna run?

well right now i have 235 streeet tread michelins on it, what tires r best to pull with?

 

im running mastercraft on the back.

 

the street DD dont like truck pulling. it messes up the rubber silencer pieces.

do u have 3.55 gears or 4.10s? if ya have 4.10s, pull 4 low. 3.55's 3rd low

 

3.55's, on the pulling tires do you run the same size as stock tires
