the local county fair in my area is having a truck pull this year and ive just bought my first diesel and im interested in pulling it once. i was thinking about buildinig traction bars for it just because of axle hop i get anyways and i was wondering what would be some good tings to do to my truck. i have an 85 6.9 idi regular cab 4x4. i mean i was just gonna turn the pump up 1 flat and do the trac bars but i was wondering if there were any suggestions

i dont know much about idi. you can always try it and see what happens

 

yeah iits def. no powerhouse but i do wanna try it. im just hoping i can even move the sled out of the hole

 

just watch bouncing. that can tear up stuff fast.

 

i guess the best thing would be to let out oof it and stop?
