The stock bottom ends are pretty strong. But if you havet the motor out its cheep insurance to build it up a little.

Well pretty much you could get by with a lot of cheating as long as everything looks stock. I dont know what type of officials you guys have checking but at our local pull every summer we have some pretty inexperienced people checking. Like the water/meth kits if someone said it was just water they probably wouldnt check it. I mean I am not the one to tell someone to cheat but it would be easy to do so. By these rules. They do not seem very strict about stuff. Where do you pull at?

i get called a cheater all the time...but I dont cheat. read the rules and find the loop holes.

Nebraska, so to get started, built p-pump, bigger turbo, bigger injectors, electric fass or air dog fuel pump, minimum of a dual disk clutch, saftey stuff, go pulling.

along with some suspension upgradeds, that is not a bad start.

this sounds like its going to be more work then fun to pull. i didnt' know there was so many regulations, i figured you just ran what you got in the approriate class.

it all depends, if you have a stock truck you run int he work stock class if your area has one.

if you want to play with the big boys that are in the 700, 800, 900+ hp ranges then you need to do the work to build the truck to compete. nobody says you have to start off pulling in the big dogs class.

That is the crappy part about out here, you join the club or try to find a local "run what ya brung" no rules smoke fest!!
