What is a trick hitch? I see it in all the rules as being prohibited

Pretty much anything other then standard, A hitch that changes height as your going down the track is teh most common.

Okay, what about an adjestible one, that I adjest before hand with bolts. Would that not be considered a trick hitch?

Yeah they can be adjustable for height, Just cant move while hooked to the sled.

A trick hitch can also be one that pulls from farther ahead on the frame like below the fifth wheel or one that pivots to increase pull down on the front end.

or one that connects to the rear end like all of the bigger 4x4 trucks run.
