very nice captn, I need to find some 1" plate to water jet a new ring to go on the channel I have so I can get to the 3.75" elongated hole some sleds require now. you may want to add vertical gussets from that mounting point down to the plate on an angle. being elongated like that puts alot of stress on it and it will bend.

Yeah sled stops. Keep the sled from tearing up the bed of the truck if it stops suddenly. Like if a tranny or axle breaks

^^^ exactly. I have a nice bent up bumper and dented bed from the sled hitting me last year.
