Cognito is the only place to get pitman/idler arm braces. For the tierods you can get sleeve or HD tierods. There are several places that you can get either. Don't drop the tbars all the way you want to drop them so the CVs are flat. Do this with your truck weighted down if your running extra weight. Before you back out the adjustment bolts get the front of the truck off the ground lifting it by the frame to unload the tbars a little more. Several guys just clamp the springs works kind of like a poor mans traction bar. Get some 3" ubolts that are flat not rounded and a piece of flat stock with 2 hole drilled in it for the bolts. Or 2 pices of flat stock with holes and 2 bolts. The idea it to make a clamp and use it to compress the springs down to the overloads in front and behind of the axle, so you need 4 clamps total.

when you run in low range (dodge has a 2.72:1 reduction ratio in the tcase) so that puts 2.72 times less tq on the tranny. i dunno how the ZF-6 is strength wise but i know there are more dodges that have grenaded nv5600's and G56's running 2nd gear high range vs. 4th gear low range due to this simple principle of tq reduction.
are you running the 6 speed
i am trying to find the right gear for pulling but my truck is kinda odd

i have 2003 cr with the nv4500
i try running 3rd low hit the rev limiter
then i moved to 2nd high hard on clutch

i am tring to ge the 4000 tune from bob but i have heard back from him yet

is there a formula that i can get to figure out what tire size i need to run 3rd low???

I can get to 3500, I am running 285/75-16 BFG at-KO's, I have not done very much to really tune this thing for pulling, I have just been told by many around here that with how it runs I should try it and there happens to be a big pull in Rural Retreat Va this weekend. I am also unsure of what RPM to run when taking off, etc. this will be my first time in front of the sled... I was thinking 4-low in 3rd gear and dumping the clutch @ 2800-3000rpm to get it going...

DONT "dump" the clutch you will break stuff fast that way, you want to let it out easy which means you'll be slipping it a little but just dont slip it to the 100 ft mark or something like that, but yeah 3rd gear 4 low should work good...if it feels like its boggin to much try to stop before the 100' mark or 75' depends on what the rules are and you will get to go one more time then try 2nd gear you may run out of gear but its your first pull so its experiment time to see what works best with your truck

Dont forget the Video of your pull

OH yeah, I am hauling mine and a buddies trucks on my trailer and we plan to take turns shooting the pulls, and thanks for the advice! I was kind of wondering about dumping the clutch too... for that very reason, I really do not think I will slip it that much, even though I have some upgrades power wise, I have a SB DD clutch and I do not really think I am pushing enough torques to slip it too bad, but we will see!!!

Not once it engages it shouldnt slip, but when your first leaving the line and your letting the clutch out you'll slip it a little but once the clamps good skinny pedal down til the flag flies at the end
