actually depending on where you are.......sometimes its actually better to jump up to a bigger class.....i know there was many a nights i could of ran my old stock 1st gen 2wd in the Mod class and got 2nd place cause 1 truck won the pull and 2 more broke on the starting line.......

hmmm i need to remember that.

im going to the local truck/tractor pulls this weekend, im going to talk to some people and get the fill of things, i might take a hitch just incase i wanna pull.

i found a pretty cool pre made hitch but it was $399

i seen those too, im thinkin a welder and a clevis, i already have like 3 hitches w/o ***** on them. im just missing the welder part

u just need at least a 3 inch opening for the hook, and have it sit to the hitch height limit, and maybe make it adjustable.

and the closer to the hoop is to the axle the better.
